Utah Fall Photography
Utah Fall Photography – The Fall is my favorite time of year, next to Christmas. I just absolutely love the colors that overtake the leaves everywhere up here in Duck Creek Village. The Vivid reds and oranges against the white backdrop of the aspen trunks that grow everywhere up here are gorgeous. Even when the leaves began to fall to the ground and leave the branches bare, the sight is still beautiful. They float down like hundreds of colorful butterflies flying down to you at once. It is truly like something straight out of a fairytale! In the Fall the sun goes down sooner and the family tradition movies and cuddles by the fire begin. Coffee in the evening, chill in the air and slower days in the village, Duck Creek Village, my home.
One of my favorite things that the Utah Fall Photography brings with it is, of course, Halloween. I love Thanksgiving as well but for me Halloween takes first place. Halloween is the start of the holidays that bring out my inner child, it’s bad! You should see how many Halloween themed knick knacks I have, how excited I get over getting to dress up with my husband and girls, and how much I enjoy watching movies like Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloween and many more.
This year Sage is going as Elsa and Hailey is going as her baby sis Ana from the movie Frozen. I deemed the costumes appropriate since they are sisters and well, we very well may have snow on Halloween up here in Duck Creek. Plus snow boots and earmuffs still go with the Frozen theme. I am going as a fallen angel simply because I get to feed into my inner darkness for a day, it comes with the deep depression from my many disorders. Not to mention I have a few black dresses that fit the occasion, don’t judge me. My husband Mr. Jonathan D. Harris, is going as anonymous which is actually pretty funny since people wont know who he is with the mask on.
I am really looking forward to passing out all of the candy glove bags I have made this year and decorating our Jeep’s trunk for the village Trunk or Treat and Harvest Festival. I love going with my family to the pumpkin patch and watching my girls choose which pumpkin is the perfect pumpkin for them. Then taking home our pumpkins to gut and create our Jack O Lantern masterpieces, all while making a huge pumpkin gooey mess. There are so many more reason why I love the Utah Fall Photography, but I think I have made my point on why Fall is one of my favorite times of year.
